Veritas® 西式刮鉋  Veritas® Scraping Plane

西式刮鉋是完成最後平滑面的理想工具，可用來取代砂布機，而效果比砂布機的砂光好。特別是必須處理高度成型或逆紋理的木材時，使用鋒利的刀片切削，可獲得出色的效果。

●  較大的硬木前旋鈕和後把手令使用者能很舒適的長時間操作
●  底面很大可以確保工作物平坦
●  可調節刀片角度從0°到25°，可以精確控制切削動作
●  手轉螺絲結構，可消除由刀刃引起的工作表面中的突起

西式刮鉋
刮鉋與刮板是中式手工具較少被提及的器材，但是在西式手工具卻是很常用的工具。主要用來取代砂布機，而效果比砂布機的砂光好。
一般是在細鉋鉋平木料後才使用，而不是用來取代細鉋。分為類似西式鋼鉋的大支刮鉋（Scraping Plane）、小刮鉋（Cabinet Scraper）及刮板（Card Scraper）。

刮鉋（Scraping Plane）的特點是具有刮片的角度調整螺，當刮片一個角度鈍了以後，只要旋轉調整螺再往前調一點，就可以繼續使用。
